Thank you David. Don't worry about stars. A cyber six from you count like a real one. I am nor totally happy wit it. I think have to work more on the shadings of the fruit. I am a experimenting with local styles. This genre style is a kind of mix. It came in from northern Mexico and has a strong European influence. It got very popular along in the galleries down here over the last twenty years or so, along the tourist trade of the Riviera Maya.

I love the pastel colors they work well together. Grate texture, contrast, and shading. The grapes look like I could pluck one off and eat it. Grate affect in the background.

Wonderful colours and contrasts here. The initial impact is strong and the composition, while a bit traditional is well done. I like the muted tones which allow a perfect foil for the more dramatic ones. This creates a feeling of nostalgia. Good luck in the contest. Cyn

Thank you Cyn, Yes it is a bit traditional. Not what I do usually. Its not what I do usually. I put myself to school exploring the digital possibilities for various styles. For this painting I adopted a genre style locally used in our area. It is a good exercise. I have to do work some more on the shading of this one.

This is such lovely digital art. It has a really Mediterranean feel to me, with the colours used and the subject matter. The detail is superb. I haven't seen all that much still life digital work posted and this is a wonderful example of fine technical ability. I really hope you do well in the contest. This clever work fully deserves a 6 star rating in my eyes.
