What a cute idea this is. I believe prairie dogs do sit up on their hindlegs like meerkats, don't they. So dressing one up is very clever. Great use of your Sharpies.

Well what can I say . ..quirky little varmit. I am trying to teach my 10 year old to paint..we are on painting number 3...you will have to teach him your techniques ad love for the markers. Nice picture.

Wow (apart from the setting and the costume) this guy looks really realistic with all that intense detail! I just love the dark colors in the background (the Irish part of me would call those "tartan colors," lol) which really make the groundhog "pop." And that red kerchief is so intense, it almost becomes the "focal point" (along with the face). I almost missed the cig hanging from the mouth, because it blends so well withe the brown fur and the shadow that it casts, but there it is - nice touch!

That is real cute for sure, love the hat and the fur. a fine work. oh look at the cigar. if the guns don't get him the cigar might. a fine work as usual. the dark sky is great too. nice glow on the moon.

LOL! Wondered why I hadn't seen this one, but it was posted before I joined FAR. Such a cute prairie dog (?) and great job on the garb. He had to love this! Great color palette but my two favorite parts are the holster/gun and belt and the cigar. Move over Joe Camel! Still LOL in Florida! Jean

This one has really got a lot of detail and colors. It is very well done and looks great. There seem to be some patience in this one as it has quite a mix of shading and extras. Very great work.
