How true and I am sure your wife will always treasure not only the time you took to create this for her but the memory of her dear mother will always be with her when she looks at this. I really like this and think the sentiment behind it is very touching. The colours work beautifully together and the detail is very good. This actually reminds me of one of those hand embroidered cards that soldiers sent back to their loved ones from the trenches during the world wars.

Wonderful remembrance of a loved ones passing. Some pass and are considered just sleeping, others are etched in stone and cherished until we ourselves pass. I would like to be honored in this way when I pass. Wonderful composition and striking colors. Another job well done my friend.

That is a really nice touching story, Mark and really thoughtful. I like how you have the hear set in the wings. I like the colors, so bright and colorful. The angel is very nice too. I love the back ground, it goes well with the colors. I miss my grandma too. She was about 4ft I want to say 9 inch. not quit 5 ft. But she had an attitude like no other! But she had the kindest heart. Thanks for the memory.

how true... this is so poignant yet uplifting. i like that the angel has a bit of a smile on her face. i try to think that my loved ones who are no longer "here" are truly at peace somewhere. love the flowers, too. they add that little touch of magic.
