At first glance I was thinking of the fragrance of this beauty. Can't remember, do camillia's have a smell? Pink and green are always wonderful together. Such clarity. I love it.

I agree with you on how perfect this looks and the color is great. You sure got great lighting on it, but the one leaf seems to take my eyes away from the beautiful Camellia.

Thanks, thought about cropping, I have some from competition that are just the flower but I quite liked the contrast of the leaf to bring the pink out more. :) Mary

This is a nice shot! I do think it would be a fantastic shot with a little cropping! I really like to show and review work that is unedited, but this one would be beautiful if it was a full frame of the flower itself! Beautiful lighting and focus! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much for your positive feedback, thought about cropping tighter but liked the contrast of the leaves and buds. I have lots from competition where they are just the flower which I may post a couple of later. :) Mary

Thanks for your positive feedback. Can you tell me what adjustment needs to be made as I note that you gave it 4 star rating which in the FAQ states should be given if adjustments need making? Don't normally query rating but it didn't match the review. Cheers
