Your art work and coloring is amazing! This piece has great perspective angle and focus on the subject at hand. The customer has it all from the juicy red tomatoes to the lip gloss etc. Not to mention she is all the same color but not the same color. Haha The cashier looks like a proud devoted worker her attire is great and the calculator is an added detail. Great contest, story and entry.

Good political rant there!
Great talent, technique and focus. Nice overall composition. I'm not too sure why the guy is on the floor - is he hiding under the counter to spy on the pretty lady with the vegetables? hee, hee. Thanks for saying stuff out loud.

Wonderful story telling and marker poster created by you in honor of our hard working grocer. Love the friendly smile on her face even when people complain, it's not her fault and I agree with you totally. Total respect is deserved for this much needed profession, I feel the same for servers, any job requiring physical labor. Bravo!

my favorite element - the basket full of those fresh veggies. when i can't make it to my local farm stands, i will buy produce at the grocery store that is supplied by local farmers. wonderful tribute to the working class - the forgotten.

Growing your own food is the best idea. However not all people have the space to do it.
I think we should all go back to swapping produce and talents and get rid of money completely.
It is the love of money which makes people greedy.
Great work as usual and your soap box spiel is very interesting and thought provoking.

Look a little M K. Good contrast in the colors used. Good detail from the name tag to the card reader, a vegetables. The people are well proportioned, and have grate faces. The high lights in the hair are grate.
