Really nice attention to detail and style. Looks like you really enjoyed the subject matter as well, Maybe you can try to do one in color sometime, I think that would be really nice.

You sir are most assuredly a very talented artist. What you achieve with your markers in hand is nothing short of amazing...This is a brilliant work capturing the raw energy, excitement and genius of "Jimi". (I'm a fan can ya tell?) The whole black and white choice is perfect for the piece and the times...Imagine what Jimi would have contributed had it not been for the "27" curse, and of course your contributions into the future will, I'm sure, continue to be that of a most talented and creative Artist. Thanks
Now, "move over and let Jimi take over..." :)

Doesn't everyone just LOVE Jimi Hendrix??? What is not to love. This is something different, haven't see this side of you. I need to lurk your profile.

Fantastic detail on initial impact, great in B&W and wonderful imagery. The light and shadow expertly played. Love the expression of passion on his face - deep within his craft. Thanks for sharing ...

Come on and lurk..I think it is maybe page 10 or 11 u start to get in my normal art (not cartoons) I'll warn there is over 30 pages..Lotta rock art..sports art..strange art..call an A.D.D. artist. .I like to bounce drawi.g everything. .however it was the funniest flowers last year that got me on top. I thought myself well instead of being an artist I might as well be a cartoonist..I am a smart tail with a sharpie..wink. thanks for the awesome review

Now... that's what I'm talkin' about! This is a super drawing! I'd love to see more of your work, like this, posted on FAR. (Flowers are fine ...and humorous, but this is very nice.) You really showed that you have a good understanding of light and shadow. Congrats.

You certainly are a Sharpie artist and a very good one at that. I just can't imagine doing this. You've got such great details in this and have depicted him really well. Good job.

Oh I remember this guy! Excellent artist, died way too young. Realistic image with stop-action capture. Expressive, exceptional detail on all levels (large, medium, and macro). I like how you framed this one - with his name in the background for those younger folks who haven't a clue to whom this person/artist may be. Great work. Thanks for sharing.
