Good rendition of the musician .. i like the bold and strong lines - like the position of the subject in the space with the guitar .. good job

Impact 5 love black/white 5. We were just discussing some song he sang last night with my 30 year old son and it was almost a ballad and a far cry from memories of him/Janis Joplin era. Nice detail. technical 5 technique 5 always great technique an d technical ability. Love the treatment to shirt and guitar too.

Incredible tribute to Jimi Hendrix. Your detail in this tribute is off the charts. The hands the shadows the knuckles the face expression, highlights - hell, even the intricate detail in the guitar. Well done by one of the oldest, skilled and accomplished sharpie artist around!

This is a VERY cool image My Friend! You put raw emotion into this and it comes across VERY strong. I think the BW really makes the image stand out! Love the way you did the font too. You should be proud of your work with Sharpies. I think you do an amazing job with them. :o) Helvi

Great picture, I instantly recognized Jimi so I guess I am dating myself. Great use of shadow to create form and shape. Another job well done.

this is a very nice creation of Jimi Hendrix the only suggestion I would have is to add more detail around the lettering seems flat against the rest of the creation just my opinion

good suggestion and i did kick around that idea and some others on the border but sometimes i have screwed up by putting to much and sometimes the simpler can be good for it overall..with no way fixing mistakes u have only 1 shot to make right...but ur right..this is good for the moment but could have had a lil more to give it the additional ump...maybe ill get lucky next time..wink. lol. thanks for the great review

First of all I want to say I sooooo admire your talent, enthusiasm and the amount of work you produce. You are a machine! The history you speak of with the markers speaks volumes about you as an artist. Your work is amazing and I feel you through your words and this fantastic rendering of Jimi Hendrix.

Awesome job!! I am glad you reposted this piece. It is by far my favorite drawing of yours. The facial expression tells it all. The best part of Jimi is that he is left handed. I love that style of lettering you used. "Excuse me, while I kiss the sky" (cyber encore) -Cory
