Wow, what a great close up Willie, love it showing all the facial details with a clean bg and bright exposure. Did you use a zoom lens? Sure got up close and personal..

What an amazing picture - mega macro so the sun seed looks like a huge peace of whatever - the feathers are clearly visible even in their natural structure and we can admire the soft color change on them - great deep look - you got a wonderful moment just having this seed in its bed trying to brake it down - we can perceive that his beg has sharp borders, technically well done too

Pretty close! haha Fantastic image of the head of this cardinal with a seed in its beak. Love that eye and the feather detail is amazing. What kind of lens did you use? Super shot for sure and captured with a razor sharp focus and excellent exposure. Well framed and presented. Excellent work!

Thank you so very much! I use an Olympus E3 camera with a 70-300mm lens.

Very nice Willie. Great detail and clarity on the bird. The colors really pop out at you and with the orange beak accenting just adds more. Good use of the soft background. So what were your camera settings?

Wow this is really an excellent shot! So very clear and sharp focus.. I can almost feel the texture of the hair of the bird from here.. The opened up beak and the sharp focus on the eye is wonderful.. Colors are excellent.. Top shot as far as I am concerned. Thanks for sharing!

Fantastic details in this shot, you could count every feather if you wanted to. I really like the coloring in the beak.
