It's interesting seeing her head buried in her feathers.
And all those feathers!
The color of them is wonderful and your light shows it to best effect.
Nice black backround to enhance subject.
Good focus and DOF.
I wonder what this looked like without the watercolor filter. I do like the effect, but I curious as to how it effected the focus.

What a beautiful shot - just looking into the eye of the bird, ready for a nap - you really cached him in an outstanding position - your angle slightly from the left side show the beauty of his face - great macro close up to see the tiny details of the feathers - the salmon beige is awesome and your contrast is perfect - well done
