love this close view Eileen. The lighting and colors are so gorgeous and the black background shows him off nicely. Excellent detail and lovely feather texture. Very impressive on all fronts.

The Milwaukee Public Zoo have these amazing birds! I just love how they can sleep standing up!
I love how you captured this one he look like he is hiding behind his beautiful pink feathers!

I love this shot. I've been try to get just this shot for over 2 years. This is perfect. The black background really helps to make it pop. The feathers are tack sharp, but the colors are delicate & soft. The eye peeking out is wonderful.

Definitely an excellent photograph. The composition with the radiating feathers and off-set head is stunning. And there is so much texture between the body and head feathers and the tightness of the beak and the eyelid skin. Absolutely beautifully organized and a joy to view. Thank you.
