Nice shot. I like the presentation of the bird coming into the shot the added color on the face caught my eye. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful mixed media piece, the eye of the hawk purveys the landscape looking for prey as he fly's overhead, circling round, and round. Hide little creatures if you want to save your skin. Excellent shot. Ron

What a great work you did here - first the shot is amazing with the angle of the bird in macro distance - the art changes are very well realized - you transformed this bird into a kind like statue with a glass cover effect - the colors are a perfect match - just wonderful

You have a truly amazing spirit. I need more souls like you around me everyday. Take care my friend. We are gearing up for a possible storm called Isaac.

you are so welcome - music art and sports are connecting the free spirits and somehow we meet - take care from Isaac - just send him huge love, embrace him and ask him inside of your heart from deep of you soul to move softer and to move slowly away - and you will get a true miralce - povven several times and it works - the most fun thing is when the TV notice cannot understand why a storm all over sudden is turning away, LOL love is the answer - blessings - it takes a bit of training - when you catch the spirit of the strum, than it happens - take care

Wonderful work of art Eileen, looks like you see all the workings of the bird, like a pocket watch! Wonderful experiment and work of art!;)

Isn't experimenting fun! Your composition is very well conceived and emphasizes the
prey aspect of the bird. The colors from the glowing edges are subtle and create a very nice addition to the picture.
I find however that the eye needs more emphasis because it has competition with the white spot to it's left and the nostril to the right. The white spot does not seem to contribute to the design and perhaps could be removed. Highlighting the eye with a shine and lightening the brown, I feel, could possibly help pop it a bit.. I just feel that beautiful intense eye could be more dominant.
A very interesting approach to an interesting capture!

Personally I really don't like t glowing edges. You make everything else look so real though. Its kind of like in the doorway if you know what I mean. Nice contrast and focus. Lots of detail. That I do like. Have fun

Wow, this is way cool. He looks as if he is electrified. I think the filter enhanced the details and markings of his feathers in an eye catching way.
Good composition and good expression in his eye.
