At first I thought it's a still life painting. The medium used is good but the parts of the artwork is not clear enough to see the magnificent beauty of the vegetables. The vegetable near the green bell pepper is not distinguishable as a vegetable. However, the use of neutral color as a background is a good choice. It emphasizes the subjects.

really effective piece.
first i thought it was a cutting board with the different textures.
i like the browns they go very nicely together.
