lovely shot of one of natures natural wonders, i love zebras and you have captured this one well. the eye is pin sharp and you have good focus all round.

Wow! I've never seen a zebra this close-up before! Look at those lashes! LOL! Kind of looks like this zebra has mascara on!! They are SO full!
Wonderful markings! Great texture of facial hair, stripes stand out..The vivid black and white..
Nice slightly blurry background. Doesn't take away from Mr.. Zebra here..

What a great subject..all those repeated lines of stripes.
You have a very good point of view..He's so close to us, his head and body filling the frame.
Your focus is very good, and I like your DOF.
nice angle..like that his body faces front, and his head angles to the side..showing us his eye and the length of his nose and creating a diagonal line from tip of the left ear down to the end of his nose..
I think your exposure is good, except a tad bright on the top of his left ear where some definition is lost.
While we're talking ears..his are a bit close to the top of the frame..just one step back..
Like seeing his black and white against the backround of green.

Phyllis, thanks so much. There is much I could have done, if I was thinking at the time. Time went by too swiftly and got what I could. I really appreciate the comments. Gives me incentive for what to stop and think about before that next "click". :)
