Beautiful night shot - it seems you got not just the moon but a kind like double moon and white flash in addition - you took this picture from a wonderful angle so we can perceive how it is embedded into its environment too - the golden light of the lamp is awesome reflecting just on the front with the door and window that are forming a kind like cross from this position - the adjustments are perfect - well done

I agree. Waiting for that moon was excellent. I know it is a chapel, but it has such a haunting feel. I love the lighting and the dark surroundings. I feel the moon emerging from the clouds is so fitting. Great photo.

Dramatic! Do you see the abstract figure of Jesus or a saint in the doorway as I do? The rule of 1/3's has been observed and the composition is very well conceived. The moon reflecting it's light on to a cloud is the perfect counterbalance to the well lit front of the chapel.

Excellent imagery, dimly lit, there is a bounty of color and detail. Intentionally designed by you, you gave us a choice between lit and shadow presented on the wall. The vegetation serves as an anchor for a sacred place, the place where bones rest.
The full moon is Gods assurance he/she is looking lovingly down upon us. This has an almost angelic look.
This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.
