You hit the nail right on the head with that one. I too thought about my childhood when I first saw this, so you get top marks for first impact. The use of B&W is also a plus in the same direction, and the laughing Child just has to take this photograph over the 5 stars, when you look at the composition too. Well done. Roy :0)

I really like this photo Willie, and it looks very good in BW. I really like the way your granddaughter is looking down on you, and I can fully appreciate that this was difficult to capture. Lot of action and motion here, and the stop action is just perfect.
This is also a very nice and sharp shot with good details. The hair is well defined against the sky. Also the exposure is spot on and you have fine distinctions between light and dark areas.
This is also a well composed shot. The placement of the girl within the frame is perfect together with the tight cropping. This is indeed a well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

At 67 I still get on the swings at the park when we take our grandkids there but not as egar to fly high as I did when I was a kid. ha I love the pov for this shot with her looking down on you. Great idea to get low and look up. I like the shot in b&w cause it kind of puts us oldies in the swing from our memories. Well done and a great shot.
