I like the treatment you have given the leaf a great deal. You have really enhanced the tonal range. Not usually a fan of software used on plants and flowers. My view is you cannot improve on nature. But this certainly has the Wow factor. Love the colours and textures and the fact the leaf is filling the whole frame.

"The Color of Life" is just beautiful! I share your intrigue in shooting leaf textures! What I like about this image is that you have caught the light so nicely from one side of the leaf to the other. The main vein seems to divide the quality of light and provides the eye with a nice comparison which adds interest by expanding the story of this simple image. Nice!

YES same colors as my apple LOL - the colors of life ARE blue and green - yellow and brown - there is light and shadow and all that is reflecting in a single leave you presented here - a strong center holding the different parts together absorbing the light on one side and spending show on the right site, all in harmony within the self - beautiful synonym - well done
