At least she is not alone in this world Fred. She still has a companion. I like the way you capture this shot. Good framing and a lovely colour in autumn.

This is a compelling photo. It's kind of dreamy, and sweet. Lighting is good, for the scene, contrast is good, overall impact is good. Thank you for sharing.

Wonderful fall shot Fred, love the fog and the old woman and her dog walking into the sunlit end. Excellent composition with sharp focus, lighting and framing;)

what a fabulous find Fred. Well framed with the path leading us through and that she's framed by the branches. You managed to pick up some beautiful colors despite the fog. Good focus and nice work on the techs. Not easy in this case. Fantastic shot.

Fred,
A beautiful & atmospheric picture of the Lady & her do in conversation as they walk.
The path leads you into the picture & the mystery in the mist over the rise. While the colourful Autumnal Trees form a high celing like a Cathederal. Superb composition, perfect lighting, Taken with expertise to get the best from the low light. Would make great card or wall hanging.
Susan.

Beautiful scene of the silhouettes of the old lady and her dog walking in the fog. Shot does say something about campanionship with the dog walking along beside her. Did you have a dog walking along with you that morning? ha Great photo for sure and sure has a feeling of loneliness to it. Good one.

This is a brilliant photo as nearly a ghostly effect of loneness. As if she is going to walk into the distance and just disappear. Terrific story telling. So well done.

Lovely softness to this picture..the low light, the morning fog..go to make a picture full of atmosphere.
The path, with red leaves on both sides, leads us to the woman and her dog.
They are well framed by the bough of branches, and have a bit of brighter light at their base.
The colors blend well, with just enough reds/and little yellow to give the picture a touch of brightness, but not overwhelm the predominantly subdued mood.
I can imagine the quiet in this woodland, with just the sound of their walking.
LIke the low light, the vertical frame, the point of view, the depth and the composition which is well balanced.
This was a pleasure to view.

An emotional feel with a cool foggy moring exposure. The walkway leads the eye to the lady and best friend, well framed and focused. Like it, good work Fred.
