Don't you just love "happy accidents"? This is a wonderful one. Beautiful fall colors. Nice crisp silhouette. Nice inclusion of the bit of branch in the upper corner for framing and interest. Nice placement of the bird and reflection in the image.

This photograph shows an effective use in light by the way it creates a silhouette of the bird. The water is interesting in the manner in which the colors of Autumn reflect in the water without the viewer actually seeing the trees causing the reflection.

really nice colors coming through on this one. the focus on the bird is very good. i like the reflection of his shadow as well. i wonder if your would look better cropped vertically so that this could be used as an accent piece on a wall. i almost had something negative to say about the tree peaking in frmo the top right. But i think it adds a nice artifact to the image. good job..
