really a beautiful shot. i usually hate noise and grain but it works well here as it makes the shot look more like a painting. good choice on diffuse glow also. you should also add what your ISO was in the notes. looks like it was pretty high. nice job on this. dave :)

I like the idea behind this image but I am not certain it actually works for me! The flower is beautiful with small blooms on short stalks from the main stem. I love the colours and the placement within the frame. I like the background colour too. I am not keen on the shaft of light. This makes the top flowers where it hits them look rather fuzzy and for me it looks false.

Thanks Susan, I do appreciate your comments but that shaft is light is real... I did not put that in. That's why I called it Gods Gift :) I do appreciate the review immensely!

I like what you have done here, capturing the light just perfect I feel the defused glow adds to the drama surround this post. Good dark background does not allow any outside distractions, well done my friend.

I don't think that the diffuse glow filter works well here. The main focal point is beautiful without it and the light coming down makes such an impact. The focus and clarity is nice. The color contrast is good. Keep up the good work.
