I see a lot of the elements within the piece you are describing. Mother, daughter, & others. I do think tat the grayscale tonal quality in this is a little flat, meaning it is in need of some darker values. If it had some darker values it would be more interesting visually and have more depth. Nice start but needs more range in the tonal quality of the color as is it flows into one color too much, the viewers eye blends to quickly into one hue.

Very sad story. I see such instances in some old movies and read in books. But this is the first time I am hearing from first person.I have always liked your style and like your B&W artworks better!

thank you- there are millions of us.. for instance, my step fathers nation, 50 million were dragged to the Gulags.. but here is no better, only more cunning and more silent.
