Hi Willie, you exposed well for the subject and the full crop works well. To improve I think I would have lifted the levels on the dark side of the flower to reveal some detail. Nice work and thanks for sharing.

Thank you so very much! the flower was almost gone and really was not pretty. I think if i had used a fill flash it would have made it better.

This is truly beautiful...
You captured nature in it's most perfect light.

Good cropping, and contrast as well.
I like the way the butterfly sits on the flower with such ease with it's care free manner.

Good focal point also, lighting position, presentation and initial impact.

Yes, you sre right, the sun's rays looks really good through the wings, I bet this little fellow is very camofloughed in the leaves, I would think his wings would hid him very well. cool photo!
