That is so sad. Our culture has no clue as to what the people in these other countries go through. A child robbed of his childhood. Given the responsibility of an adult,way before his time . He looks to be about 6 years old. Shame on us Americans for what we take for granted. This photo speaks to the heart and expresses anguish beyond words.

This is such a powerful capture. The sadness is conveyed thru his big brown eyes. The baby on his back is so peaceful and just as helpless as this little boy. The only thing I would to see change would be that the little boy should be the focus and his face isn't as sharp of focus as the baby's. Very moving picture, amazing capture and thank you for sharing this.

really an incredible shot. He does seem a bit less than happy. I think that the focus on this is a bit soft though or maybe it was a shutter speed issue. I would like to see the details in his hat better. otherwise a really nice journalistic shot
