I had seen this and I had to do it! I so love the reays of light shining through the leaves and the trees, it really shows off the multi colors of the leaves and the leafs of the forest. I so like the red flower in the middle, it some how makes it all balance out! wonderfully done!

I like the pov of this shot with the sun streaks coming down through the green trees. My only problem with it is that its very bright or blown out in areas behind the trees. Pretty but kind of distracting at the same time. Probably just me. Don't know how you would get this on shooting into the bright sun. Perhaps a neutral density filter would help with controling the exposure. Thanks for sharing it and good luck in the contest.

Most of your image is blown out.
I am familiar with Kerala, There are so many beautiful area's you might have shot. I am interested in helping you but I need to know what camera you are using and how you process.
I know you have received good reviews on this image but I can not agree with any of them.
I would like to see more of your work before I could make a judgement or be of any help to you.

Dayanna, Your sunbeams really work only in an image that allows them to provide a source of light for a dark forest or as a digital mixed media image. Here you have shot directly into a bright sky.

wow, this is really different. You have caught the light well. I love the red flower in the middle. There seems to be some dead space on the lower left, but since it is light, it is adding to the energy of the sunlight as it streams in, so this is O.K. A very striking picture.

A nice shot of this tropical foliage with the sunlight streaming through the leaves. Nice composition. The contrast is quite high here but what lets you get those great streams of light.
