Beautiful capture. I love the fibers and seeds mixed into the lines of the dried stems. It looks exotic. Lighting is good, clarity is good, contrast is good. overall impact is good. Thank you for sharing.

Pretty unusual and interesting look at this, and it has a bit of an abstract feeling! I also like the light play through the "fuzzy" soft plant fibers! Donkeyoatey

Great capture Willie! Like the sun glowing on this twisted clematis flower. Great clarity and details. The dark background is Fab. The sunlight offers a golden light at the end of this flowers time here. Nice work!

This has your usual eye for detail Willie. The lighting works well for you.It always amazes me how a plant can look as lovely when it's dead as it did when alive. Mitch

Thank you so very much! I know! This plant starts looking neat when it first starts to bud all the way through to this point.

Absolutely beautiful abstract of nature shot Willie!

Very unusual subject and I love the way you have approached this.

Love the light and the clematis and the black background that really emphasizes it, top marks my friend.

Great impact! I have a few images of these as well...dramatic lighting and good focus...really pops against the black bg, which also adds to the drama of this beauty!

Well done. Very interesting shot of the dying flower. Great lines, details, use of light and focus. The BG makes this pop in silver, gold and brown. Fantastic entry for the contest. Great capture of the beauty in this dying flower.

A very good example of twisted and tangled. Nice lighting on this photograph to reveal what is remaining of this clematis once the beauty of the color leaves. Great fine detail to get right inside the mess of twists and tangles.

It is actually the weed bed as the weeds took over. it is in the back yard. it is a vine that climbs on the trellis.
