A gorgeous image that you captured and then made it look like a painting, at least it does to me. Gorgeous image and a nice entry for the contest. The flowers in the flower planter make it look as if someone lives there and is caring for the old cabin. I think I would have cloned them out for the abondoned places contest. Excellent work though and has to be a top contender.

Since nobody is living there, I wonder who has put flowers in the boxes on the porch. Another strange thing is that we can see the background through both windows. Like it was not back wall. It is a lovely and tranquil place though.

Your photo is nice and sharp showing clear and well defined details and I like the way the light is falling on parts of the cabin and on the grass in the foreground. It is great textures in the old walls and in the stones of the chimney. It is also very nice and natural colors in this photo.

I also think your POV was good, but I think you need to straighten this photo a bit since things seems to lean a bit too much to the left. The adjustments in Topaz works well. You have taken a good photo of this abandoned place, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Looks like a beautiful and interesting place to visit and take a tour. We have something similar in Old Wisconsin. You did a wonderful job with showing the beautiful colors, detail, sharpness, etc. of this little cabin on the hillside.

I like the feel and the mood of this shot. The colors are rich, the setting feels serene. Your exposure, framing, and focus are well done.

What a great picture, I love the 'tweaking' you do, enough to enhance the detail but not enough to take away the feel of a photograph. I also like the subject matter, there is so much charm in old buildings like this.

This is very pretty. It is nicely composed and well focused. Too bad walls can not talk because I bet it sure has one hell of a story to tell. Very pretty.

Beautifully shot Willie. Even with all the shadow's the character and charm of this cabin is well seen.
The area surrounding the cabin is also lovely and well maintained.
