A wonderful Cardinal photo. Full of color and details. Yes the red and green make for a nice Christmas nature photo.

Excellent photo of this beautiful male cardinal sitting on the pine branch. Your focus is pin sharp and you caught a nice eye highlight on this fellow. Is indeed the colors of Christmas. Wish we had these beautiful birds out here in the Northwest but we don't. Great shot, fine initial impact, great appeal, and captured with excellent techs.

Thank you so very much for a great review and high score! I see the Cardinals every day and tend to take there beauty for granted.

Excellent photo with the red, greens and browns. I love the detail in the feathers as well. Nice DoF too.

Very nice image of this cardinal
Reds to me are difficult to shoot they seem to bleed in certain areas and loose clarity
Great framing
Great back drop
Good focus & clarity
Great image

Thank you so very much! I have not had or have heard of the red bleeding.

A wonderful shot, so well prepped, framed and presented. Colors are great as are the way you use lights and darks for contrast. So crisp and razor sharp in the foreground against a well crafted blurring, without loss of subject matter, in the background. Well done!

This is perfect. The image of the cardinal against the pine bows are very appealing and interesting. It has great proportion and huge appeal. The framing is very good and the entire composition is presented very nicely. Great photo. It looks like an oil painting.

Wow ! An awesome piece of photography of a redbreast bird! The picture is just excellent with an exact frame focusing on the main object ! The picture depcits very clearly the colors of the feathers with the emotion in the eyes and claws of the bird which tells that the bird is eager to fly again after having taken its rest on the brach of this particular bough! The background is blrurred in order to bring the bird in the focus. AWESOME PICTURE !

What a fantastic capture and the colors are very holiday. Beautiful color and clarity of the bird perched on this branch. Your point of view and the composition of the shot is superb. Beautifully blurred background. It's a great shot.

beautiful shot - great color and lighting. would like to see the same sharpness of the body all the way to the tip of his beak - it fades off slightly out of focus. nice bokeh. good job overall.

Thank you so very much! I should have used a smaller aperture.

For some reason I find a Cardinal in the snow more of a Christmas scene than some old fat bastard dressed in red prancing around. Perhaps because I am an old fat bastard and you become cynical at a certain point.

This is well done Willie, the way you used the pine as a natural frame for our friend and it is just great how the pine needles make a wisping backdrop, and then right above his head a hit of red to complete the package. Very nicely done
