Ah! I was looking out for the twin Day. Imaginative and creative work.
The ballerina is beautiful, you have captured her grace and beauty. Wonderful expression on her face.
Her tutu is a bit bright compared to her top. I would try to get the colour flow through with some textures in the tutu. The back ground's landscape is a nice backdrop with the sun.
Nice work, thank you for sharing.

Thank you very much. I appreciate your review and your input. I will look into the tutu issue. I admit that I added a layer of white frosting to it. It was supposed to represent the morning haze and dew.

it is a great idea, your notion and concepts towards these two paintings. such images are important to help define both moods and the feeling we have. the lighting is both delicate and beautiful. i especially like the expression on the face, as it is very calming in influence.

Wonderful counter part of the first one with a total different background - golden light, a shining sun and a nice green with flower decoration somehow in your sub-consciousness dancing is related to nature and nature is green and therefore you might have chosen a soft green instead of white - her position is grace and innocence just would have liked to see her eyes and a smile in this one - may be the next in overflowing joy - great arrangements - good idea - good detail work, well done

Thank you very much. You are right dance and nature are may related in my mind. I am a performing artist myself [even officially retired, I am still working sometimes.]. The costumes in modern dance are often colored [Except the white swans of Swan Lake]. I could not change the face impression since I do not know Emma and had only one photo to work with. [It is one of Patties photos]. I also doubt that even I had permission to change background and color, I would have gotten permission to change the face impression.

I've been waiting for this one. Same beautiful girl and that blending effect into the earth. The lighter shades seem to be almost spring except for the clouds in the background. What a fantastic set. Very creative and always shows your unbelievable talent

Thank you! You made my day again with your review and your high rating. Actually it is spring. I must live for to long in the Caribbean. Those clouds are typical for spring time here.

This is a very well done complementary Day to you previously posted Night.I like the inversion of the colors here that were used for Night. Only comment would be the brightness of the green and the fact that the edges of both the dress and arms loose definition against the light sand colored background.

Thank you very much. I appreciate always to hear your viewpoint and suggestions. Once again I have to admit that the points of your critic are conceptual. The loss of definition was intentional, she melts into nature, because she is NOT REAL. She is a spirit, a goddess of nature [Aurora, Roman goddess of dawn, see Roman mythology].

Cleo, perfect! What a gentle, artistic, well-designed painting, without explicit detail but so stunning! I love the colors you've chosen for her dress, for the soft blending of the sky, water and background hills. The reflections you've added to sun on water are great- you are so very talented!
