Definitely a very cool effect! What makes this pic so successful is how you have complimented the colors with the green leaves and purple background. You still kept good details in the leaves but also created that painting effect! Love it too! Thanks for sharing! Joan:)
ps What program did you use to get the oil paint?

Yes, One of my favorite filters is also the oil painting one. You have very nice results with this picture. Has enough color to add pop, with strong dark areas, and highlights to make a balance picture.
Nice blurred background. This will look nice on the wall.

Beautifully done Eileen I really do like the outcome of this, beautiful colour mixes especially with the purple background the brings those green leaves out very well.

I like how the oil filter has worked in this it makes it very abstract.

I love this. So pretty! Great textures, shapes and colors. The oil paint filter created a beautiful image. I can see why you will hang this on the wall. I like the one single pink bud with the light around it. Very nice composition, color choice and bokeh.

Wonderful use of your filters! We do remember the other photo you posted like this one and it is amazing also. The background on this one is so lovely and the lighting all around is spectacular, especially the shimmer just right of the center with the three large circles. Very nice detail and depth. Thank you so much for sharing your experimentation and success you have enjoyed with it!

The colors are beautiful, with the different shades of green and the deeper pink, or maybe it's light purple.
nice to have the lines of two stems, one extending almost across the entire top area of the picture.
Also the lines are gentle and very slightly curved which is graceful.
nice bokeh in the backround.
backround has nice blur.
And I love the oil paint filter!
Would you tell me where I could get one?

thanks so much Phyllis! I am so pleased with this one and everyone seems to like it as much as I do.

The Oil filter effect is in the Photoshop CS6 version. I am actually just trying out the program to see if it is worth buying. But so expensive. Thanks again!
