Wonderful bird with such a cute and somehow Baby face expression - en guard with !Argus yes" LOL - you really got him well framed and the background is perfect for my criteria also when it is busy but that is just like nature is and nature is perfect within itself - the angle to the sun is perfect too as it lets him stand in the shadow and growing up it becomes clearer - great environment picture, perfect DOF, contrast and exposure

Improving! We both know what you did wrong. Exposure too low. Way too low. But, it is still a fine shot of this Snowy Egret in full mating plumage. And you have both feet! Lol. You are doing fine E! Next time you get flawless eye clarity!

Yep, could pass for a statue, the can stay still for a very long time when hunting for food. A beautiful bird in it's natural surroundings, lovely composition and excellent techs;)

Very keen look, love the touches of highlighting. I also love the fact that you can see the orange feet. great clairity. If the backdrop was blurred it would have popped right off the page. All in all beautiful composition.

There are about 3-4 people on this site that don't like the way i critique. They say that I give 5 stars all the time, and that I say the same thing on every picture. But I have been on this site for 1 whole year. My English isn't so good, I don't really spell in English correctly. I think that to review a picture there is only about 6-7 things to really review. Focus, frame, Clarity, DOF, Exposure, Color, or noise in the photo. When I want to write something out like this, I call my daughter so she can translate a lot of what I want to say. This is why I don't really talk or chat much when I review. I only review what is needed for the photo. I don't say details about the picture, like example maybe the birds hair looks like a mo hawk.. all I review is technical stuff on the photo because of my English. Thank you
