this series of yours really makes me smile, you have given it the chapel a distinct personality and a fun face. But, and this is the most important thing, the pictures are sharp with good definition, and the mixed media adds to the shot rather than detracting. To the you make us really care about these apples! Wonderful story and great photography Annie. I love your characterization of the fruits. The funniest part is those attitudes are so human and lifelike. I think Granny Smith should just accept that she is the best choice when it comes to making apple pies. Some people also prefer tart and sour apples to the overly sweet ones. All depends on personal taste in the end. Both types are needed to balance the apple industry. No sense in any apple trying to be a different variety of apple. No matter how much the sweet apples tell Granny she is too sour or too bitter, Granny cannot change. All apples are useful for something, even it's just to feed to pigs. ;-)

Thank you very much for the lovely review, and of course you are right about the human nature. But this is after all fruit. LOL

I love these cartoon type characters you've created and the story to go with them. Very creative. Good technical skills. I love granny smith apple pies and ice cream. The green lines to the right of grumpy is a bit distracting. Regardless, this is well done. Thanks for sharing. Sam

I don't what I'm enjoying more; The picture of the fruit or your story about the Rose & the green sour apple. The photographic presentation as always is polished & shows refined post -processing digital & artistic skills. The commentary shows a youthful fun-loving personality. Thanks for sharing. Very funny! A clever creation that made me smile. I wonder - was Mrs. Granny Smith always this bitter or was it only when she realised that everyone always preferred Miss Rose? And if Miss Rose is so confident of being the favourite - is she really as sweet as she seems?!

LOL - Very good questions. I think Granny has always been a bit grumpy, and of course Miss Rose is not at all as sweet as she seems. Thanks for a great review.
