Thank you very much for the lovely review. I am sure I will make even more of them. Just now I am working on a banana idea.

This image just oozes with humour Annie made me laugh. I love the way that you have lit this with the two characters in that pool of light. The expressions are priceless especially the green one. The colours and framing are excellent. As usual as is the editing work, superb stuff.

Hah, Hah - another very amusing composition. I like the green tones paired with the red shades. Green and red would not be my first choice as partners but the background colours, also shades of green, pull the whole image together. I love the "hair" on the apple which is a beautiful red rose and similarly I like the old fashioned mop cap on the green apple. Leaving some foliage too, acting as collars, is very clever. In fact, the whole composition is very creative.

Thank you very much for the lovely review, and I agree that red and green are quite hard contrasts.
Comment from Sketchy
I've often thought that fruit is taken far too seriously in art, so it's great to see that something as mundane and simple as apples can be given a humourous twist! I found this work incredibly original and it made me chuckle. The idea was brilliant and you've executed it wonderfully, from the expressions of Mrs Granny Smith and Miss Rose to the flower hats they're wearing. Keep those fantasy fruit creations coming!

Very well framed and certainly used the apples name well in the story line. The expressions are priceless as well as the hats that crown the cores of these fine looking apples, and let Granny Smith there are those who prefer the sour taste. Well done, john

Thank you very much for the lovely review, and of course I know a lot of people like the green apples better than the red.
