Beautiful shot of this bird. Shame about his leg but looks healthy enough in this shot. Like the perspective showing the long beak, little eye and tufts on top of the head. His feathers look so silky. Very good framing as well as focus and natural colours too.

Oh my goodness what a handsome bird and shot - you really got him perfectly as portrait - perfect camera settings, perfect focus - clear and sharp in all details - perfect frame letting us admire just his handsome face and shoulder - the colors are very beautiful and your picture brought them out in a perfect way with the perfect color saturation, perfect contrast, perfect exposure and a perfect timing as he gives you the momentum of opening his feathers looking like a Beatle - perfect shot

The silky white of the birds plumage along with the details (excellent focus) makes this a great image. The green plant in the background, even though it is blurred is a distraction. Summary - great photo!

Thanks Wendy, my main concern is always the animals. Shooting is a pleasure THEY give me and I want wish them only well. He was so darned cute!

This is so good! Looks like the bird actually used hair spray to style his cone. Just really a great picture with good color and clarity.

OH My Snowy EGRET Close up E gilrl! Only a tiny bit of blow out on his fluffy hair..But look at you shooting white bird! Great eye clarity and feather detail. Where you lost the other 1/2 point was the slight soft focus of the bill. BUT..Your FINEST SHOT yet! Up that exposure..and you are so there! WOW! And where was I?!
Nice framing and really nice shooting! YEAH YOU!
