This is awesome! Very well rendered and beautiful to view! The bison is such an amazing animal. I love the way you positioned the mother so close to her baby. Nice detail in both the cow and calf.nice show of the textures in their hair. Well presented and a pleasure to view!

Tedious painting technique rendered by patient, persevering & meticulous painters!

Fantabulous blend of soft highlighted spots & faint shaded portions...
Sleek, tall format & compact framing rightly draw viewers to the subjects' detailed features.

Harmonious color scheme.
Calf is still easily recognized despite the slight monochromatic foreground rendition.

Thanks for sharing...

I really like the softness in your colors. The image is great and the buffalo calf is so relaxed and sweet. That is a difficult technique to do and you did good.

I do have a question; what did you find wrong with the piece? Your rating indicates it has flaws, can you tell me what they might be as you see the artwork.

Thank you again for your time.

You wanted me to tell you more about some issues I saw in the piece you did. I will try to explain. When doing animals and landscapes one should make sure they put perspective into the image. Perspective can be done with Color. Your background is The same Tone as the calf. Your buffalo is coming forward ahead of the calf. Now if you wanted that to happen then that?s OK. But to make the image Pop You would have to understand color pushes back or pulls forward. The artist if you look at his work you can see the perspective in his work. You can see how he changes the color and tone to create perspective. So that?s it. But I really like the Image you did. Hope that makes sense.

thank you for the explanation; do not agree with it. However, I do understand we all see colors slightly differently. and then there is the posting and the difference between computers and their color settings that could and do affect how an image is projected.

    Yes that could be.

A heart warming scene of the Bison and Calf. Your pointillism art work is beautifully created. A good color pallet and shading and blending of colors with good details. A creative and talented art work. Thanks for sharing! I look forward to checking out your book series.

What an excellent job of painting the buffalo. You show the expressions well of mother and calf and texture and shadows, love it. Keep up the good work.

This is amazing. I have never heard or seen a picture done this way.
I have so many questions.
How long does it take to do a picture like this one?
Do you sketch it out first? Do you use a computer at all?
Sorry I'll stop now. Really cool. Thanks for sharing

A tender moment between mama and baby very nicely illustrated. The pointillism is effective and the colors are pleasing. As a native Nebraskan, this art resonates with me because bison were a state symbol for many years.

Very smoothly done and I love the little, golden calf in the light, similar color background that nicely frames the darker mother. My admiration! Thanks for sharing! Daphne Oberon
