Find this to be an interesting image. Like the different approach of the different fishermen.
The subject is the huron and it lacks sharpness. The yellow of the fisherman grabs the attention and contains little of interest.
Composition wise, too much is occurring in the vertical center section - believe that the image would have worked better if the bird was offset to in front of the boat.

For me this image has been let down by its composition. It is too central. For the contest it fills the requirements with rain splashing the water and the fisherman in their capes.

A great entry. Its so unusual. Its not often that we see rainy day pictures. It is even more unique to see three fisher man, one heron and two humans who apparently do not mind the rain. I admire the crisp capture of the bird and the raindrops on the water on a background softened by just the right DOF and the rain. The colors are exquisite wile natural looking. Best luck for the contest.

A great entry. Its so unusual. Its not often that we see rainy day pictures. It is even more unique to see three fisher man, one heron and two humans who apparently do not mind the rain. I admire the crisp capture of the bird and the raindrops on the water on a background softened by just the right DOF and the rain. The colors are exquisite wile natural looking. Good idea. The composition can use some adjustment. I would suggest that the men in the boat are too close to the top border of the image. The heron and it's reflection are nicely done.
