A soaring capture! This may put to flight the other entries at the contest. The details are so sharp and clear. I also like how the 'left-wing' and the 'right-wing' have come together harmoniously here.

I do like it. The Blue Heron is very handsome and really stands out against the beautifully colored water which seems to have a lot of movement in it.

A beautiful bird in flight and great entry for the contest. Like the way his legs and feet are dangling behind it. Either coming in for a landing or has just taken off. Sharp wing feathers with no motion blur at all and beautiful colors on this guy. Excellent photo and should be a top contender.
