Thanks so much Beny your kind words are really appreciated. Bad timing having to work over Easter but I am sure you will enjoy time off when you get it :)

These are really cool flowers. At first I thought they were photoshopped because they didn't look real. I thought they were the little rubbery squishy balls that light up when you squeeze them. How funny, I never seen anything of the likes. Your not yanking my chain are you? great shot nice blur in the back ground. What on earth are those?

Thanks so much, ECHINOPS ritro Globe Thistle is the name of these blooms, I checked it out on the internet as we didn't see a sign. They definitely caught the eye as we were walking through the gardens. Cheers Mary

I love the composition of this shot, beautifully framed and well lit, the colors are gorgeous, and the shape of the flowers is so unusual, taken from a great angle, well captured, Kim.

This is a beautiful shot of the flowers!. You have framed it well. The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good effort!

I like the unusual color of these flowers. They are so different. Good angle of the shot-it looks like you were underneath looking up. Good detail showing the spiky leaves as well. JD

really cool image, I am always looking for flowers to do this sort of image, but never find them. Love the angle, good lighting and clarity.

This is a very good photograph. I love the composition and point of view here. Great choice of aperture! I think you have demonstrated that an image that could have been quite dull in the hands of someone else can be made really interesting by some thought of how to capture it. Well done!

If I am not mistaken I believe these to be Thistle plants, or at least they look like it. Great down low capture of these flowers blowing in the wind. Very nice subtle color and excellent clarity.
