This guy is not so happy with the rain LOL, my birds are enjoying a long bath each time - very nice capture of this little guy with such a handsome expressive body position, it says it all LOL - telling a story without words - handsome colors - perfect focus and clarity - even the small raindrops are perfectly clear and transparent - handsome green background color - very nice shot

Great close-up. Love the subtle green backgroung. The juvenile really pops off of it. Great focus and detail of the bird. Beautifully marked and with all textures very visible.

Nice to see you and Sandra decorating the top of the list of the well received. You both deserve to sit there in my opinion. I am so glad you kept the raindrops. I actually think they add a lot of interest to this shot. The background is nicely blurred and with a lovely green color, and the bird is standing out in the most excellent way.
The focus is spot on showing clear and well defined details in the feathers, and the eye is standing out really well. Good exposure as well for a rainy day like this.
The format you have cropped this down to works really well, and the bird is well placed within the frame. Really an excellent shot Eileen, and with perfect DOFF.

Very nice photo Eileen. I like the crop and I like the raindrops. It shows exactly what conditions these guys live in. The focus is good and the detail in his wings shows the markings and color very well. Nicely framed against the green blurred background.

This is crystal clear and beautiful. I gave you a six because raindrops are not easy things to capture in mid air. You did it perfectly with a wonderfully blurred background.
I will write those camera specs down and see if I can capture some raindrops at that speed too.
