Good entry for contest. Each tile alone could be its own abstraction, but the different hues of each tile help make this photo work. Just call it 5 in 1.
Thanks for sharing and good luck in contest.

There is something about abstract photography that grabs my attention.
This is a nice artistic piece with the contrasting colors, huge leading lines and artistically framed.

This is a unique photo considering the history behind it. I like the authenticity of this shot. Truly amazing that something can last so long. The textures and colors make for an interesting picture. JD

Excellent entry for the contest and I really enjoyed your notes on the history of Messinia. This certainly has a bit of an abstract look to it that you captured well. Good camera techs and a nice view of this floor. Good luck in the contest and thanks for this history lesson.

Such intricate workmanship and beautiful hues of color. You can tell they are ancient, but they have not lost their ability to fascinate us. I enjoyed the information you gave us also. Thanks so much for sharing.

This most certainly is abstracts at your feet isn't it! Love those patterns and colours from each individual slab.

Fabulous texture from them each one is an image in its own right, very well seen in the first place for a lot of use would not have seen it.
