Lovely sunset shot you have here, with the sun shining through the parting rain clouds. Since it's in the abstract contest, you could always go more "wild" with this by using digital editing software.

The light of the sky is beautiful. I have had the problem of whether to crop out a window or not. In this case, I think I would have, because the sun in the cloud appears to be over blown. Can you decrease the lighting on that part? It would be a lot more effective. Good shot from a movng car though.

Thanks so much...I don't believe I can crop, would be too tight a crop...maybe even take a little of the sun. But the lighting could be dealt with, but the only abstract I could see about this photo was the staight-on capture of the brightness and the inside-the-car view:)

This is gorgeous. I like the frame. To cut it out would be to cut away part of the sun. Love the colors blending together.

That's what I thought, thanks so much for this close review. Truly that was what I saw "abstract" in this, was the framing and the bright straight on shot. I'm glad you liked the blended colors of the sunset:)

Afraid this shot does not work for me. I see you have entered it into the abstract contest, but I do not see anything abstract about it. I would have thought it was more appropriate for the sun through the clouds contest which is currently running. Capturing shots through car windowscreens as you drive along can sometimes work, but very rarely. You end up with part of the car's structure in the shot, which is what has happened here. I find that rather distracting. The sun is blown out due to its brightness and the clouds do not have a lot of colour. You have great contrasts in light and darkness in this image which the camera finds difficult to cope with, so you need to change to manual mode. Even then it is still a tricky shot!

Nice photo of the sunset,I can see you couldn't really crop out the window in the top right as you may have taken away part of the sun.Nice silhouette of the trees.thanks for sharing

Very nice capture of this beautiful scene. I like the bright sun shining through the clouds. I love that you left the window frame in the photo so that it has an abstract feel. Nice lighting and framing. Good job!
