I agree with you, Gerbera flowers are fantastic in their shape and colours. They come in bright colours as well as soft and gentle tones. As cut flowers, they last for ages. Very pretty shot showing a Gerbera in soft yellow. Very good framing and focus.

I like the close-up of this flower with the beautiful golden yellow petals. The way you singled it out from the other surrounding flowers is special. Love the water drops clinging to one of the petals. Good Techs.

I think this is a lovely close up of a Gerbera and the two drops of water adds interest. It is such a lovely color in this flower as well, but the pink and blue we can see a bit of in the background are a distraction. There are of course many ways you could get rid of them. You could change the background completely, or you could use selective coloring which would have made the background monochrome.
The photo is however nice and sharp showing clear and well defined details in the petals and in the middle of the flower. I also think the exposure is good here.
The format you have cropped this down to works well and the position of the flower within the frame the same. Well taken macro shot, but I think you need to do something about the background.

Thank you so much for your input. Another reviewer mentioned the
blue and pink color being distracting and I can see it now too. At the time I was concentrating on yellow. Thanks for suggestions.

As I look at your shot of this, my eyes are drawn to my counter top where my son just dropped off a pink one for my wife. I think I might have to grab my camera and see what I can do now that you have given me some inspiration. Gorgeous yellow petals with a magnificent texture.
