What a fun and cute shot. Great exposure and focus showing all the very cute details on the little twins. Mom seems to be on alert as the little ones look too. Good work.

Just wonderful. We have deer come around occasionally, but it seems I never have my camera handy when they do. This is a wonderful photo with excellent color, clarity and composition. thanks so much for sharing. have a great day:)

Beautiful nature family. The babies are adorable. The mother looks trepidious, trying to take care of the fawns. Nice rocks and greenery. Lovely image, shot well.

Oh, that cute scene! Beautiful color and texture, nice illumination, great sharpness and good DOF. I like the rustic stone staircase and the contrast of lights and shadows. Well done

I love these shots of the deer. I have them walking through my yard here in Vermont all the time. I have taken many photographs and yet to be happy with the quality of the shots. I have one posted in my portfolio of a mother nursing the baby. It is kind of a long distance shot and I only put it up because I thought it was unique to see the baby nursing. Great shot here with nice focus and detail. You could count the spots on the kids.

What a beautiful sight! A mother deer with two offspring. Her coat is very plain in comparison to the young ones. The babies are how most people would think of bambi's! Like your framing with interesting all over the shot. Good focus too. Not sure this is totally apt for the contest since the subjects, in my view anyway, are the deer, not the foliage. Good Luck in the contest nonetheless.

T. Kay those two fawns are so cute! Nice focus on the deer, good colours and depth, its just a pity about the concrete steps. Otherwise a great shot. Well done.

Thanks for your view. For me, the steps add line and texture, but that's just how I see it.

Well, I love the subject. Nice to have three in the picture. The fawns are precious, and their spots ae lovely to see.
I think your definition on all three is good, and I like that you've kept the backround green in focus, which adds to the texture and also is an important part of your contest entry.
Because the deer and fawns are the subject and together with the grey stone stairs occupy a good portion of the frame, I'm not sure that this is the best entry for the green contest.
that being said, the green tones are very nice and it's a nice composition, with the stairs creating a diagonal line and then the grouping of 2 fawns and mom echoing that line.
I think you could actually brighten the picture just a bit more. What would be ideal would be a kind of selective brightening on the deer. I don't know how to do that myself..have to learn.
Nice picture.

twin fawns are always a joy to see! I think this has a great natural feel, and they do not seem to be too worried about having their mug shots taken. I do like the steps in the shot, it not only adds some lighter color, it makes me smile, wondering if the deer use them. Donkeyoatey
