What a beautiful shot. And such sad notes. Swans are gorgeous creatures and you captured this boy so well. After reading the notes you can see the sadness. Animals feel emotions just as we do. Thank you for sharing this with such wonderful lighting, I love the spots that are lit so well and then the shading leaving a feel to the scene. Very clear and framed so nicely with great detail.

how lucky you are to be able to ramble with her! LOL! i like the detail and textures on the feathers, the drip at the tip of the beak, and the wionderful natural colors. I do think it is a wee bit squeezed at the top, but a lovely shot. Donkeyoaty
