What a wonderful little shot, when it came up in the thumb nail, I thought it was a painting, that is how good the lighting in this is. That, coupled with a great pose on the great herons is a winner in my book, very nicely put together.

Composition is excellent showing three young birds. Each is looking in a different direction which makes the shot interesting and also seems to balance the group. Focus is spot on and so is framing. I think you have over saturated a tad though. Colours do not look entirely natural.

Sharp detail, and focus. Angle of view is excellent. This is almost surreal. Looks like a painting rather than a capture. Great job.

At first I thought this was a painting. I can imagine it would be very rare to capture three herons in such wonderful poses! taking the fact they are birds out of the equasion.. and just thinking of them as objects, it is wonderful how the directions are taking the eye from the center outward, upward and inward. There is enough sky to frame the two birds on the left, and yet, the textures fo the greenery adds to the design showing how well they can camouflage themselves in nature. Very beautiful! Thank you for sharing!

Eileen this gets my last 6 I just love it, love the idea of those three all looking in different directions its not only a fabulous nature photo by also a funny one. I just love that one looking straight at you I don't think I have ever seen a photo of a heron quite like that one.
