So good to see this juvenile growing strong. He is handsome.
Great color, detail, contrast and framing. Beautiful Heron and wonderful shot.

Excellent capture of the preening ritual. Had not noticed the second one until I read your notes. Doesn't distract, but maybe a better result with the second one. Excellent techs. Thanks for sharing.

As usual you have shown us another wonderful nature photo with great character.
I love the position and shape of this bird against the background. The back feather is very detailed and graceful at the same time. The greenery embraces him, but does not over power him. Very expressive! Thank you for sharing! (how much did he charge you for posing like that?)

A nice position on this bird, a unique pose on our friend. The lighting is pristine and shows off all those wonderful natural colors, well put together.
