Watch me do a handstand is the theme conveyed here, if intentional by the photographer. A creative, unconventional perspective for a macro shot. A bit more sharpening and brightness could top it off.

WOW, impressive shooting. The clarity is spot on and the colors are truly outstanding! Love the pose and looks like he is not only posing for you but doing a handstand to top it off!l.o.l. The framing is perfection and the dark b.g. gives him all the attention and he looks like he is almost glowing! Awesome and excellent contest entry!

Only suggestion is to get rid of the white spots on the eyes
Use the spot healing brush tool in elements, make it small they will go away.

Very good shot showing a dragonfly. I have these blue types in my garden although presently it is very cold and wet so nothing is about! Like your framing and your focus is very good, as is the lighting. Background is pleasantly blurred. Very apt for the contest. Good Luck in that.
