I really like this shot and I thought it was the shadow of a real crucifix until I read your notes. I can see that you are documenting your surroundings for memory's sake. That is a good thing to do! :)

I am indeed, I have just started painting a series of stylised small paintings of the place, as I had no beef with the English, except their lax government, which does not know who their friends are and who their enemies are-much as the Jews! doesn't it just look like the cross an altar bearer would carry though???thank you

Nice capture of this "cross". I think I would have cropped or clone out the shadow on the left, leaving the wire stapled to the wall, which in itself is interesting.

Unusual composition . It does look like a crucifix reflection .Good idea to shoot the Shadow, gives fairly good depth of field . Nice one - well done , with Peace, Joe

in real life, even more so- I am not a photographer, but it struck me-- so often have I seen crucifixes in ordinary life- thank you
