What a gorgeous bloom Mary and your capture is sharp with excellent details on the bloom itself. The faded b.g. draws the eye right back to the bloom.Lovely natural colors and perfectly framed! Just wondering if it feels as soft as it looks?

Such interesting blooms which we cannot grow here in the UK. Winters too cold. Reminds me of a pineapple although not entirely sure why! Possibly the colour but also the shape of the plant. I think it might have something to do with the texture too. Beautiful image with another bloom behind the first. Like the inclusion of some foliage too. Very well framed with sharp focus.
