Wonderful image Eileen. Rich beautiful mix of colors.
Outstanding details.
Most fascinating. I would love to know what this is, for it most certainly does appear to be an eye in the middle. An eye that appears focused on the photographer as well.

Okay, I am blown away at this presentation. This has to be the MOST AMAZING DESIGN OF A LEAF that I have ever seen! The best ever, in a life time is what I an say about it. Brilliant, wonderful details, colors and finite veins in a leaf. Perfect arrangement of a leaf into something other than a leaf. Beautiful blue in the corner to amazing soft background. The branch holding this animal is what I see, not a leaf anymore. Many thanks for shocking me to amazement. So unreal to see.

A most interesting shot. Good composition with harmonious colors. Light is effective and focus spot on with nice bokeh. (only comment is perhaps a little small f/value to increase DOF just a tad). Thanks for sharing. /john

The shape of these few leaves is very striking and remind me of a feather fan. The colours in the top leaf are just wonderful, looking like autumn tones but not so sure it is autumn since the other leaf has more green colours. I like your framing and your focus is very good, as are the colours. I do see the eye. Have you enhanced this other than dodging and burning? Or did the "eye" look like this when you originally saw it? Very well spotted and well captured too.

Thanks Susan. This is as I saw it. No enhancing for the eye. Just minor blemishes removed in background.

The colors and sharpness of this photo are excellent. The rings around the "eye" are really caught my eye. I also like the contrasting color of the leaves - the orange of the leaf in the foreground against the green and red lines of the leaf in the background. Nice shot!
