Great artist notes by the way.

I like the darkness of this post, it borders on the dramatic as if this beast needs it. A good Fathers Day portrait -

A very super capture again of this special guy and he gave you the perfect head position so we can admire all his special pieces in his face - super frame - good portrait camera settings - perfect DOF - I just have to look at his face expression and it is holding me - really a special shot, well done

Beautiful shot of the endangered black rhino. Read your notes and agree with you entirely. Like the angle the animal is in the shot since you can see its face and also the big hulk of its body. Nicely blurred background enhances the whole image. Framing is very good, as is focus.

Eileen, i couldn't agree with your notes more. Most of the elephants in Kenya have been killed. It is difficult to stop because the poachers are hired by the newly rich Chinese. It is they you must stop because money will always find a poacher.
I like your image. His face is well captured and poignant. The one on the left should probably be removed with content aware. Bren

Quite true and as you are fond to it. You must keep. What ever I suggest should only be implemented if you like it as well. It is your image and should satisfy you. Bren

Well, this is the first time I kneww a rhino had hair on and in his ears. How have I lived this long and been so dumb?
Good shot, good clarity, good color.
Thanks for sharing

Lol. Not dumb mollie. If you are like me, I'm just not that observant. Getting more into my photography is allowing my eyes to open more. Thanks so much for this amazing review! Lol

Wow you were so close! Very nice composition, just a pity you never got the whole of him in, excellent focus showing awesome detail, good colour clarity and nice depth. Well done.

Thanks dawn. There are bushes and low fencing that keeps one from seeing everything. Thanks so much for your review.
