What an interesting shot with lots of colour, shapes and texture. I am fascinated by these creatures I have to say. They look pretty prehistoric to me! Like the way you have filled the entire frame with the eye, nostril and mouth. Such detail in the scales and wonderful tones of green. Excellent framing and spot on focus. Great shot.

Impact 6, colors 6, technical 6 technique 6, creativity 6. Lighting enough to cast reflection on its scales. I would love to have a picture of a lizard like this. Really great picture. What state?

Stunning capture in great detail. Perfect focus on the eye which is where it needs to be. Composition is bang on as well. Great colours and contrast give this real definition. The eye even reminds me of Lord of the Rings. Wish I had taken it.

Initial impact? I now learned to say : Gosh - haha - amazing shot - handsome macro settings - super special angle - amazing sharpness showing us totally all the different textures and pattern, lines and forms of this tiny piece of his face only - I am speechless how beautiful he is - the colors are super together and he seems to be from an other planet - we never are able to look so close to see such details with our eyes only - macros are giving us the opportunity to look deeper and more analytic - his nose is very special - the eye outstanding - this is a very special shot -a living abstract - very special- well done

Awesome shot. I am guessing this is a lizard? Also looks like a snake. This is incredible the clarity is wonderful and the detail shown is amazing. Love the composition and all the colors and textures. You can see right into his eye. It's amazing.
